Ask anybody working for Etihad, they’ll tell you the priority is certainly not safety despite what they advertise to put everyone at ease.
SERVICE IS THE PRIORITY NOT SAFETY
Inflight Services grab most of the budget and safety department is constantly fighting to include legal basic safety requirement among the incredible amount of stupid service processes!
When even the crew does not feel safe to fly their own company, you as a passenger can start to worry…
Their crew are undertrained and majority of them do not have the necessary skills to perform a proper evacuation!!
Pilots are arrogant and over confident for the ones that are qualified, the rest is made of dumb Arabs who got their pilot license right from the hand of government officials who don’t know what to do with their unemployed and unqualified people...
HYGIENE
The food is disgusting! A simple visit of Abu Dhabi catering will help you to give up on those fat and unhygienic onboard meals!
WELLBEING
Fly in Economy on certain route and you will enjoy the greatest field of germ you could ever experience, including at the realm of the most advanced virus laboratory, not to mention the smell of people too poor (thanks to their local employer) to use soap…
DELAY
If you get lucky you’ll have the privilege to wait for some wealthy sheikh’s family… Those guys have no problem to delay 250 passengers for hours just because their royal jet fleet couldn’t get off the ground. Two hours of delay is routine when you fly Etihad Airways, enjoy it, it’s free of charge!
INSPIRED SERVICE
If you have no intention to sleep on a 7 hours flight that departs at 3 am, then Etihad is for you! If you’re the kind that enjoy being waken up by a lousy flight attendant at 4 am for a disgusting, tasteless and overheated breakfast, you’ll appreciate the experience of Coral Zone Inspired Service!

talking about the pilots most of them don t respect the safety regulation ex: pilots during the flight are not allowed to walk in the cabin among the passengers and in case this has to be they must remove their braids,tie...., and hide anything showing that they are flight crew!but with etihad you ll have a prestigious visit from the cockpit crew so often, and don t be surprised if a guest asks who s flying the aircraft? and get the responds: DON T WORRY THE DUM AUTOMATIC PILOT IS TAKING CARE OF YOUR LIFE . you still think is safe!!!!!!!!!!

I am an employee and yes I am a cabin crew with Etihad, but geez can u hear yourself? We are lucky to have a job and if you dont like your job then just leave. I may not like a lot of their rules/policies but its just enough and respect that. I agree as a passenger, if Etihad don't respect their most valuable clients, I dont think they give a shit about their employees. They need millions and millions of years to become humans so there is noway to beleive that they are the leading airline in the world.

Im a Westerner and I sympathise with Etihad staff, but I think it's more a Gulf issue than Etihad issue since I was treated exactly the same by a company (non-airline) in another Gulf country. Even the Arabs from non-gulf countries get treated unfairly.

According to the youtube videos I have watched, this airline is marvelous.
Ahah!!! It is not. Sometimes you have few minutes for the checks. Service is the priority. And if you are late in your security checks, your superior will take you a part ti blame you for delaying the service preparations.
